ChoriMe FloorMapFree beta
Upload a floor routine video. FloorMap tracks your gymnast frame by frame and turns the routine into a bird's-eye heatmap, a traced pathway and a dead-time report — measured, not guessed.
or tap to choose a file · phone footage is fine · works best when the whole floor is in frame
Private by design: the video is analysed on this device and is never uploaded anywhere.
FloorMap steps through the routine, finds the gymnast in each frame with on-device pose detection, and projects her position onto a flat map of the carpet. Longer videos take longer — usually one to two minutes.
Where the routine actually lives. Camera side is the bottom edge.
The full route, start to finish. Rings mark flagged static periods.
Share of routine time spent in each ninth of the carpet, seen from above — camera side at the bottom.
Stretches where the gymnast stayed inside a very small area. A held pose can be excellent choreography — treat these as review points, not deductions.
How it works
Instead of a coach thinking “she seems to spend a lot of time in that corner”, FloorMap measures it: zone by zone, second by second.
Any video where the whole floor is visible. Nothing is uploaded to a server — the analysis runs on your device.
Click the corners of the carpet once. FloorMap uses them to correct the camera angle and build a true top-down map.
On-device pose detection finds your gymnast in every sampled frame and follows her across the floor for the whole routine.
Heatmap, traced pathway, zone percentages, and flagged static periods you can jump straight to in the video.
A stable camera (tripod or a steady hand on the balcony), the entire carpet in frame for the whole routine, and one gymnast on the floor. A slightly elevated angle — judges'-table height or higher — gives the most accurate map. Standard phone video is fine.
Really. FloorMap runs modern on-device pose detection inside your browser. The video file stays on your phone or computer for the whole analysis. The only thing that ever leaves the page is your email address, if you choose to join.
No — and FloorMap doesn't pretend it does. A dramatic held pose can be the best moment of the routine. The report exposes whether the floor pattern looks intentional, varied and balanced, and flags review points. The choreographic judgement stays with you.
This beta measures coverage, pathway and dead time. On the roadmap: direction-change and pathway-variety analysis, and music synchronisation — finding musical accents that have no corresponding movement. Join with your email to hear when they land.
Fix what the map finds
Often it's the music: no clear section inviting travel. Browse the free floor music library — every track chosen for gymnastics use, with distinct dance sections.
Cut your music to the length your gymnast can actually fill. The free music editor makes a seamless, beat-matched 1:00, 1:15 or 1:30 edit in your browser.
